In November 2025, the GoTAK team was in Belgium demonstrating our latest counter-UAS (cUAS) and sUAS awareness capabilities to operational partners on the ground.
At the center of these demonstrations was the Sugar V, our fully NDAA-compliant wearable drone detector, purpose-built for real-world operations and tightly integrated with ATAK. Designed for mobility, speed, and affordability, Sugar V delivers reliable FPV drone detection in a compact, field-ready form factor.
Sugar V: Cost-Effective Wearable FPV Drone Detection
The Sugar V is engineered for teams that need immediate situational awareness without complex setup or bulky equipment. As the most cost-effective wearable drone detector on the market, it brings ATAK-native cUAS capability to a wide range of users, including:
- Military units
- Law enforcement agencies
- Public safety and emergency responders
- Prepared civilians and critical infrastructure operators
The Sugar V is available now at getgotak.com for qualified users and organizations.
Presentations to Antwerp Police and Belgian SOF
During the November 2025 visit, GoTAK presented cUAS solutions to Antwerp Police and Belgian Special Operations Forces, demonstrating how wearable, ATAK-integrated systems improve response time and situational awareness in complex environments.
The demonstrations emphasized practical operational scenarios, including urban environments, rapid deployments, and interoperability with existing command and control workflows.
RIDAR V1: ATAK-Integrated sUAS Tracking and Pilot Triangulation
Alongside Sugar V, the team also demonstrated the RIDAR V1, a cost-effective Remote ID detection platform fully integrated into ATAK via a dedicated plugin. RIDAR V1 enables:
- Live sUAS tracking using Remote ID
- Pilot location estimation and triangulation
- Native ATAK visualization and workflows
Together, Sugar V and RIDAR V1 provide a layered drone awareness solution, covering both FPV drone detection and Remote ID-based tracking within a unified ATAK ecosystem.
As GoTAK continues international demonstrations and deployments, our focus remains on delivering practical, affordable, and interoperable systems that work where it matters most.
