Why the EUD V3
A consumer phone shares everything by default — location, identifiers, telemetry, all of it, silently. The EUD V3 is built to share ^nothing^: hardened GrapheneOS with the cellular modem ^isolated from the OS^, ATAK and the full mission stack ^loaded before it ships^, and a duress PIN that ^destroys every key^ if the device is ever taken.

First boot
Operational on first boot.
Power on, log in, operate. Every unit ships fully provisioned — ATAK, plugins, encrypted comms, and your TAK server already paired. No Google account. No setup.
The difference
A stock phone.
Or an instrument.
A consumer device shares everything by default. The EUD V3 is built to share nothing — unless you decide otherwise. Same pocket, different threat model.
| Consumer Stock phone | GoTAK EUD V3 This device | |
|---|---|---|
| Google telemetry | Stock phone Active by default — location, identifiers, and usage reported continuously. | EUD V3 Zero Google dependency. Nothing reports home. |
| Cellular modem | Stock phone Trusted with direct memory access to the OS. | EUD V3 Hardware-isolated — treated as untrusted by design. |
| Under duress | Stock phone No safe exit — unlock can be forced or coerced. | EUD V3 Duress PIN destroys every key and shuts the device down. |
| App permissions | Stock phone Broad defaults — apps collect beyond their function. | EUD V3 Per-app network and sensor control, down to the accelerometer. |
| Forensic resistance | Stock phone Expanded extraction window after first unlock. | EUD V3 Auto-reboot returns the device to its most protected state. |
| Mission software | Stock phone Manual install, per device, licenses chased by hand. | EUD V3 ATAK + plugins provisioned and TAK server paired before it ships. |
Built for operators who can't afford compromise. NDAA & TAA compliant.

The questions
operators ask first.
Full documentation in the GoTAK knowledge base. Community support on Discord. Procurement support direct from sales.
Can I use the EUD V3 as my everyday phone?+
Yes. It's a full smartphone — calls, messages, and any app you want to install — plus everything GoTAK provisions on top. GrapheneOS runs Android apps natively, including a sandboxed, zero-privilege compatibility layer for apps that expect Google Play Services.
Which carriers does it work with?+
All of them. Every EUD V3 is carrier unlocked — Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Mint, Google Fi, Vodafone, Orange, Movistar, or any other carrier worldwide. Dual SIM slots let you run two carriers at once, and our eSIM solution activates service in minutes. The only carriers we recommend avoiding are MVNOs that refuse out-of-network devices, such as Total Wireless.
Can I use it outside the US?+
Yes. Carrier unlocked means globally unlocked, and we ship to most countries with insured global transport. There are no import restrictions or usage regulations attached to the device.
Does it work with my mesh network?+
Yes. Out of the box the EUD V3 supports traditional mesh networks from Silvus, MPU5 and others, plus Beartooth MKII, goTenna Pro X2, and Meshtastic-based off-grid solutions. Grid down is no longer a factor for live mapping, tracking, voice, or UAS telemetry.
What happens if the device is taken?+
You have a safe exit. Entering the pre-configured duress PIN irreversibly destroys all hardware keystore keys, disk encryption keys, and eSIMs, then powers the device down — leaving nothing to extract. Between unlocks, automatic reboots return the device to its most protected state, shrinking the window commercial forensic tools depend on.
How long does shipping take?+
Standard orders ship within 2 business days via UPS with 2–3 day delivery. Larger field kits are built to order and can take 7–30 days depending on configuration and stock. Expedited military procurement is available — contact sales.
Is the EUD V3 NDAA compliant?+
Yes. GoTAK devices are NDAA Section 889 compliant with no chips, modems, or components from banned vendors. TAA-compliant configurations, GSA-eligible kits, and documentation packs for contracting officers are available on request.
What is the return policy?+
Because every device is custom-provisioned and built to order, all sales are final — we don't offer refunds or returns. Choose your configuration carefully, and if you're unsure which setup fits your mission, talk to sales before ordering. The full refund policy is linked at the bottom of every page.
