02 Sensor fusion picks the track up
Hyper Location fuses the IMU, magnetometer and barometer already in the device with whatever opportunistic RF is around — Wi-Fi, BLE, UWB — into one continuous 3D position. Heading, distance travelled and elevation are carried forward, so the track goes through the door instead of stopping at it.
03 All of it runs on the device
The localization model runs on the EUD itself. No cloud round-trip, no data connection, and no beacons or anchors pre-installed in the building — which is what keeps latency low and makes it behave the same in a comms blackout as on a clear day.

No. The localization runs entirely on the device, so it keeps producing a position with the radio off, in a comms blackout, or deep inside a structure. You only need connectivity if you want the position shared with the rest of the team — and that rides whatever TAK transport you already use, including mesh and radio bridges.
No. There is no infrastructure to hang and no site survey to run first. Hyper Location fuses the IMU, magnetometer and barometer already inside your device with any Wi-Fi, BLE or UWB signals that happen to be in range — it uses them opportunistically if they are there, and keeps working if they are not. That means it works in buildings you have never been in before.
As standard Cursor-on-Target, over your existing TAK Server or mesh. Anyone on the network — ATAK, iTAK, WinTAK, or a web common operating picture — sees it the same way they see every other contact. Nothing extra to install on their end.
An Android device running ATAK. It installs like any other ATAK plugin. If you are running a GoTAK EUD, it is ready to load as-is.
Yes — that is one of the conditions it is built for, alongside underground, indoor, city-canyon, and heavy-metal environments. Because the fix is produced from the device's own inertial and environmental sensors rather than from satellite signals, a denied or falsified GNSS signal does not corrupt it.
