Brian brings nearly 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, and software development to the GoTAK team. Brian is best known in the community as the developer of OpenTAKServer - a leading open-source situational awareness TAK server backend with thousands of deployments across the globe.
Prior to joining GoTAK, Wallen held prominent roles in both the private sector and as a government contractor, where he demonstrated expertise in multiple programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, Java, and Go. He is also the founder of OpenTAKServer, an open-source project that has gained significant recognition within the developer community.
