STOCK LIMITATION
Software-level airplane mode still leaves baseband, GPS, and Bluetooth firmware paths open to firmware-level signaling. For classified missions, that residual emission is the threat.
TACTICAL EDITION
Designed as the most secure solution for classified missions, Covert Lock completely shuts down every radio on the device — GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC — by leveraging hardware-backed Knox Hardware Device Management.
STOCK LIMITATION
Even in airplane mode, e911 emergency beaconing on most consumer Android remains active by regulation. Bright displays in NVIS environments compromise night-vision teams.
TACTICAL EDITION
Enabled from the factory when shipped. Disable LTE, e911, and RF broadcasting for complete off-grid communications. Turn on and off all device illumination when wearing night-vision devices.
STOCK LIMITATION
Standard Android disk encryption protects against opportunistic theft. It does not meet CSfC requirements for storage of TS/SCI data on a single mobile device.
TACTICAL EDITION
With two layers of encryption, Knox DualDAR enables confident storage of up to top-secret data. Flexible dual VPN chaining allows use of multiple VPNs for the highest levels of security.
STOCK LIMITATION
