RIDAR-FM

Every RID drone around you on the ATAK map in seconds: who's flying, where, where the pilot is standing, and whether it's real. Remote ID is the primary focus — RIDAR-FM also detects Bluetooth and WiFi emitters with passive direction finding. RX-only, air-gapped, in a lightweight carbon-fiber body.

01DRONE AWARENESS

See every drone —
and the pilot.

When a drone keys up nearby, it appears on your ATAK map within seconds — with the operator's location pinned too. No scanning the sky, no guesswork.

  • Drones on your map in seconds
  • Operator location pinned
  • Tag each one friend or foe
DRONE AWARENESS

02SIGNAL AWARENESS

Not just drones —
the signals around you.

RIDAR also surfaces nearby Bluetooth and WiFi devices and points you toward them — so you can find what's transmitting in your space.

  • Bluetooth & WiFi awareness
  • Points you toward the source
  • Completely passive — you stay invisible

03SIGNAL TRUST

Know
what's real.

Anyone can fake a drone signal. RIDAR scores every detection and flags the fakes — so your team reacts to real threats, not decoys.

  • Every detection gets a confidence score
  • Fakes flagged automatically
  • Works with no internet
AUTHENTICITY

04TEAM AWARENESS

One sensor.
The whole team sees it.

Every detection flows straight to your team's maps — over your network, mesh, or radio. One operator's RIDAR becomes everyone's picture of the sky.

  • Shared the instant it's detected
  • Works over any connection
  • Every detection logged for later
TEAM RELAY

05DISTRIBUTED DF

More operators.
Bigger perimeter, faster fix.

Every teammate running RIDAR extends your team's detection perimeter and adds another angle on the same signal. The more sensors in the field, the faster and more precisely you triangulate Bluetooth and WiFi emissions across the whole area.

  • Every operator widens the perimeter
  • More angles, faster and sharper fixes
  • Distributed DF across the whole team
DISTRIBUTED DF

DEPLOYMENT

One sensor.
Every operating posture.

RIDAR is compact and draws power entirely from the connected EUD, so it deploys in whatever posture the mission requires — fixed overwatch, vehicle-mounted, or carried by the operator.

01
Vehicle-mounted

Mobile coverage

Operated from a vehicle, RIDAR maintains a live airspace picture on the move. Convoys, patrols, and mobile command retain the same drone and signal awareness as a fixed installation, without halting.

  • Live coverage while mobile
  • Fixed-site awareness on the move
  • Powered by the vehicle EUD
02
Body-worn

Operator-carried

Attached to a plate carrier or pack, RIDAR operates directly from the EUD already in the operator's kit. No additional battery and no startup sequence — airspace awareness moves with the operator.

  • Powered by the EUD already in the kit
  • No additional battery required
  • Awareness moves with the operator
03
Rapid deploy

Operational in seconds

Connect RIDAR to the EUD and detections begin populating the map within seconds. No assembly and no calibration — the sensor is operational as soon as it is connected.

  • Operational within seconds
  • No assembly or calibration
  • Single cable to the EUD

Fixed, mobile, or carried — the operational picture is identical.

WHAT IT DELIVERS

From detection
to decision.

Detection is only the starting point. The operational value is the warning time it provides, the operator location it establishes, the common picture it shares, and the defensible record it produces.

01
Early warning

Detection before line-of-sight

RIDAR identifies a drone the moment it begins broadcasting — typically well before it can be seen or heard. That lead time is the difference between a measured response and a surprise.

  • Drones identified as they begin broadcasting
  • Warning ahead of line-of-sight
  • Time to respond deliberately
02
Operator location

Localize the operator

Every detection includes the operator's location on the map. While the drone is still airborne, the team already knows where to direct a ground response.

  • Operator location on the map
  • Direct ground response while airborne
  • Direction-finding for BLE and WiFi sources
03
Common picture

A single shared picture

A detection from any one RIDAR appears on every team member's map at the same time. Command, patrols, and the operator all work from one shared airspace picture.

  • Detections shared in real time
  • Command and field share one map
  • No per-device configuration
04
After-action

A defensible record

Every detection is logged and exportable — drones, operators, signals, and timelines. After an incident, that record supports the report, the briefing, or the case file.

  • Automatic logging of every detection
  • Exportable for reports and briefings
  • A reconstructable event timeline

Every drone in the airspace — on the map, within seconds.

07 · QUESTIONS

RIDAR-FM is a complete sensor in a lightweight carbon-fiber housing — it plugs into an Android EUD running ATAK 5.2 or newer over USB-C (Bluetooth is also supported), powered from the EUD with no internal battery. The ATAK plugin is included; once connected, detections appear on your map within seconds. Each unit is hand-built to order in the USA and ships within 30–60 days, with all antennas and a waterproof USB-C cable in the box.

No — RIDAR-FM only listens. It never transmits, jams, or interferes with anything, which keeps it quiet, undetectable, and legal to run in places where active counter-drone gear isn't allowed.

Almost every commercial drone — DJI, Autel, Skydio, Parrot and the rest — broadcasts a Remote ID signal, and RIDAR-FM catches it. It does not track crewed aircraft (for that, choose the rugged RIDAR with ADS-B), and it can't see FPV or hand-built drones that don't broadcast Remote ID.

RIDAR-FM scores every detection for authenticity, weighing multiple characteristics of the signal and its behavior into a single confidence level. Likely spoofed, replayed, or fabricated tracks are flagged with a clear AUTHENTIC or SPOOFED verdict on the detection card, and the scoring runs entirely on-device. We don't publish the specific factors the analyzer weighs — keeping them private is what keeps the scoring robust against spoofers who would try to game it.

Yes — completely. Everything runs on the device itself, so RIDAR-FM works with no internet, no signal, and no cloud. Give it a connection and it adds extra detail when it can — but it never depends on one.

Every detection is shared to your team's maps automatically — over your network, a mesh, or a radio. One operator's RIDAR-FM becomes the whole team's picture of the sky, with no setup on each device.

RIDAR-FM covers the main band where drones, Bluetooth, and WiFi broadcast, and works together with your device to extend into the higher band too — so you get the full picture with no extra gear.

RIDAR-FM

Every drone in your airspace.
On the map. In seconds.

Identified, ranged, verified, and shared across the team — without transmitting a thing. RIDAR-FM is hand-built to order in the USA; plug it into your EUD over USB-C and the airspace above your team becomes a live feed on every screen.
